Creating Safe and Brave Spaces for Transformation and Healing

I'm most dedicated to creating safe and brave spaces for transformation and healing in a variety of contexts, both in real life and online.

I co-pastor The Refuge, a Christian community and mission center in north Denver and juggle the realities of parenting 4 young adult kids who live around the USA while grieving the loss of our youngest son in late 2019. I'm grateful for an incredible husband and teammate, Jose, and we are Co-Executive Directors and founders of #communityheals Making Spaces for Transformation Accessible for all, which includes some of our favorite passions-#waterheals: Water Sports Empowerment for the Soul and #beautyheals: Rest and Renewal for Weary Souls.

I'm also an advocate for friends in hard places, a trained spiritual director (one who's a little on the loud side), an organizational consultant, and love to teach and facilitate events, workshops, retreats, and groups.

I write a little, hang out with people a lot, and try to collaborate with other kindred spirits on projects that matter.

I'm passionate about healing community, people on the margins of life and faith, equality, justice, relationships, and practicing a healthier way of moving in the world.

I'm always up for connecting, either online or in real life, so feel free to email me or connect on my Facebook page or public Instagram.
